Unexpected outdoor shower delight
Our stay was filled with charming surprises, especially the delightful outdoor shower that made me feel connected to the lush surroundings. The room was a cozy NOLA gem.
Unfortunately, the noise from the busy road made some nights less restful than hoped. Plus, the close quarters of the bathroom led to a few awkward moments with my partner!

Decent option for a quick layover in New Orleans with all in all brilliant value for money. The breakfast was better than expected with a nice variety of foods. Closer to the French quarter means you can easily call a taxi to explore more.

Couple looking for unique stay
The room we had was gorgeous and clean, it had this elegant feel with chandeliers and a jacuzzi tub that was to die for. And let me tell you, the breakfast banter with the staff was the high point, sharing stories and tips about what to do around town made us feel more at home.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap, but given the experience, it was acceptable.

A Romantic Oasis
We spent 2 nights in the suite with a balcony, and wow, it was amazing! The decor was super charming and cozy. The jacuzzi tub? YES, please! Breakfast had a nice variety, especially loved the homemade bagels. It's close to the French Quarter which was perfect for us, but our room had occasional noise from the street. Didn't ruin our vibe though!

I adored the mansion's vintage decor, which beautifully captured New Orleans' historic charm. The communal spaces were inviting and well-maintained, making it comfortable for seniors to navigate and relax in. The serene courtyard was a delightful retreat.
Bathroom lighting could be brighter, especially near sinks.

The homemade muffins were to die for, and I loved the local coffee that kicked my mornings off perfectly! Plus, the charm of the decor gives it that unique New Orleans feel that's hard to find. Not to mention, the hot tubs were a nice touch!
I was surprised by how cramped the bathroom was. the toilet and sink were far apart, making it tricky. Plus, a bit of a trek up the stairs to my room was unexpected!

The stay was enjoyable with a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was quick to help when we faced issues with our TV. The jacuzzi in the room provided a nice way to unwind. I found the breakfast options better than expected, especially the variety.
The bed was not as comfortable as I hoped. The Wi-Fi was problematic at first and took time to get fixed. The overall cleanliness could improve, and a comfier chair would have enhanced the experience.

The kitchen offers a large space for self-catering, making it easy to whip up meals if you're feeling adventurous. The historic feel of the house, with its charming decor and vintage furnishings, adds a unique ambiance to the experience.
Despite the rustic charm, the River Suite we booked didn't align with the photos. The peeling paint in the bathroom. Noise from the highway bridge nearby disrupted the peaceful vibe you'd hope for in a romantic getaway, and the lack of reliable breakfast options made self-catering a necessity rather than a choice.
